Poulis S.A. is the largest Greek exporter of cherries, distributing many tons of cherries annually to the markets of Greece and abroad. Its main markets are Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, the UK and Romania, while more recently exports have extended to Scandinavian countries. Cherry production comes from Agia, Larisa and is fully certified by GlobalGAP. The packing takes place in the company-owned BRC, IFS, ISO22000 and SMETA certified packing. The fruit is transported in privately owned refrigerator trucks from production to packing.

Poulis S.A. is among the largest Greek handlers and exporters of kiwis to the markets of Greece and abroad. Handling many tons of kiwis in annual sales, between October and May POULIS S.A ranks at the top of the Greek companies that market kiwis. Almost all of the production is of the Hayward variety and comes from Pyrgetos Larisa Thessalia, Kitros Pieria Greece, Chile and Zespri N. Zealand, with the characteristic sweet and sour taste of the kiwis.

The fruit is stored in state-of-the-art company owned cooling rooms located in Tirnavos, Larisa, and the packing takes place in the company-owned BRC, IFS, ISO22000 and SMETA certified packing. The main varieties in an order based on harvesting date are as follows: Kristalia, Highland, Williams, Santa Maria, Coscia, Kontoules, Blanquilla. The whole annual production of Pear processed by our company come from the area of Tirnavos, Korinthia, Lakonia - Greece.

In 1970 Dimitrios Poulis, founder of POULIS SA undertakes the family-owned wholesaler of fruits and vegetables based in the Central Market of Athens. POULIS SA after years of continuous development it has storage, maintenance, standardization, packaging and ripening facilities for fresh fruits and vegetables in Agia and Tyrnavos Larissis. With the aim of delivering the best and highest quality products in the domestic and foreign market, the POULIS Group has facilities of high standards near the productive areas of Agia Larissa and Tyrnavos Larissa. Its state-of-the-art facilities, based on state-of-the-art specifications, constitute a complete set of high-quality processing throughout the production process. POULIS SA has three lines of 200 ton / 8 hour pre-sorting, mini-packing machines and modern controlled atmosphere cooling chambers of a total capacity of 15,000 tonnes. POULIS S.A. is investing on new technologies, innovating in cold storage. Such technologies are except ULO, dynamic atmosphere. These investments ensures the preservation and the long term storage of the fruit.
